How can they possibly do that? The population doubling time of 19 years makes all gains negated by overpopulation. The best thing a corporation could do is sponsoring vasectomies and tubal ligations. Otherwise they will star crashing in population within a decade or so.

Exactly right, and well said! The corporations' profit interests are best served by a growing population of poor and ignorant workers who are helpless to defend themselves against emerging corporate control over the entire planet. Thus, "corporate social responsability" is really a bad joke.
