I saw the program as well. People are abusing the rights they have, mainly but not limited to having children. I dare say your proposal based on IQ be revised such that those under 120, perhaps 130, not be allowed to procreate. In the future, I'll be really interested to see what happens to those who today smoke, drink, and consume themselves into a state of such pathetic health (yet more rights abused) they become slaves to establishment med-pharma and/or worse yet, entitlement-minded morons.
Its only a dream.......
Here is another who had dreams;
"....Unlike plagues of the dark ages or contemporary diseases we do not yet understand, the modern plague of overpopulation is soluble by means we have discovered and with resources we possess.
What is lacking is not sufficient knowledge of the solution, but universal consciousness of the gravity of the problem and education of the billions who are its victims."
Surely you must think the above was written by a Nazi or white person, and surely written after Ehrlich's 1968 book. It was part of a speech by Dr. Martin Luther King given on May 5, 1966. People were beginning to get it back then.
He and President Kennedy had another dream I read about in a book about JFK. They both wanted "equal opportunity for equal qualifications, regardless of race." Unfortunately that dream got ruined , and after they died, programs of reverse discrimination were introduced that allowed lower qualifications for some and demanded higher, in many cases unaffordable, qualifications for others, based on skin color. Definitely NOT what JFK and MLK wanted.
Our steadily worsening environmental situation prevents me from daring to dream of anything except TIME enough for a positive growth in human sensitivity to whatever is left of it and a major change of behavior.
