Question But People Don't Buy Green Fuels!

As millions get thrown at green fuels, and the folks trying to sell them struggle (see the sad ethanol industry), I keep wondering what it'll take to get widespread adoption. I have an idea, contained in this survey:

What do you think? Yes, if you take the survey it would help me with a class I'm taking. But still, would a cost advantage get you to use a new fuel? Would it start widespread adoption? What do you think?

There are several factors to consider. Perhaps they don't buy because they're not aware of it. Also is it available easily? Or would you have to drive 2 miles just to have your car refueled when there is a regular gasoline pump near your area.

Your car should be able to run on it too. Be as efficient compared to cars running on gasoline or diesel.

I guess in the end it's about support from the industry/government, huh?
