It won't help us. Our only 220VAC goes to our well pump. No dryer to suck energy. We have a five-lines-on-a-retractable-reel going across our garage that I hang clothes on in the winter, and outside clothes lines in good weather.

Our device effects every motor in the home. We have different ways they can be installed. One way would be plugging the device into a 220 and the other would be hard-wiring the device at the breaker panel.
