The only reason green energy technology is taking over too much territory is the human population is relentlessly growing and expanding, not because of the technology itself. But the churches croak: "Every woman should birth all the children God will allow" and the corporate developers squeak: "A growing economy is a healthy economy", so whatever technology is preferred, it will be thrust upon this planet's limited environment regardless of consequences, and that makes global ecocide and extinction inevitable.
