    What a bunch of hooey. Any problems with their economy stem from them being 6 to 7 times over sustainable population and the British nation filled with non-British immigrants to the point of insanity.

    Actually, both the Edinburgh professor and Val are right. A growing economy for a growing population cannot be sustained by green technology, but neither can our slowly shrinking biosphere, planet Earth -- and I've got news for the professor: Climate change will be followed by climate chaos and collapse unless we all admit we humans are the problem and immediately begin safely recycling 100% of our grabage, sludge and junk we dump in the ocean and landfills and the fumes we spew up into the atmosphere every day, then peacefully reduce our human population with family planning education, while we plant several million trees on the five continents, Eurasia, Africa, Australia, North and Sout America. There is no alternative but ecocide and extinction.
