Of course it will cost a huge amount of money to supply wind-generated electricity to a growing corporate society where money dominates everything A-Z. But how many ambitious people can any nation supply when the Earth itself is slowly shrinking with each volcano and earthquake? Is Scotland's population growing to grow its economy like almost everywhere else in the industrial World? Instead, maybe it would work better for everyone everywhere if we humans carefully and peacefully reduce our population, and safely recycle 100% of our waste products to live in balance with the Earth's limited ability to support us. If not, pollution, ecocide and extinction are waiting for all of us around the World.
