Hi all!
Some time ago in Planet Green or Discover, I cannot recall exectly where I saw this TV article there was a student who had figured out a way to make cheap solar photovoltaics for 3rd world contries by using sheets of copper, a dot matrix printer and a standard oven and I was wondering if anyone else saw this and if anything more has come of it.
Specifically has it gotten more research for use in the US? I live in Las Vegas Nevada and we rarely have a cloudy day. I would think that if every roof had solar collection grid on it we could power the West Coast if scientists could figure a way for the energy from a solar panel to be transferred effectively into the grid.
Thanks for your time and I hope you all have a weonderful Memorial Day weekend!
Donald
