    Default Waste grass energy

Everytime I mow my lawn there is at least four kilograms of chopped grass that I dispose away. If only I could use this waste grass to put it in a close container along with some stuff like waste food to promote bacteria growth, I wonder if I could create this grass into sugars and methane. Could this actually work, I mean fuel from waste grass?

You are going to need a lot of grass to make this idea feasible. I think you will spend more on sugar than if you bought methanol.

You're not going to make enough fuel to make it worthwhile but it is absolutely possible

Just as the above posters said it should work but it may produce far less usable energy. It might help if some organic vegetable material will be mixed with the grass together. You might want to put some compost for the garden since it uses minimal amount of energy and is very good for soil and plants condition.

I have not heard of anyone doing this before, but it does sound like a lot of work. If you have the time, go for it! Best of luck!
