It is a terrible human tragedy that wind and solar power are being promoted and judged by cost-accounting, as though money must be the primary end product of all industrial activity; and everyone is so addicted to money they will probably reject alternative energy sources as some sort of scam. If so, the growing human population will probably go right on dumping its growing masses of pollution into the environment until the biosphere can no longer support life and we all go extinct.
