Thumbs up Cutting your power bill by over half!

    http://7e64a5uk-q3tfnc4nm3fds7l34.hop.clickbank.net/

Lately, I've been looking into different ways I can cut my expenses down. With this economy and jobs skating on thin ice I think it's rather important to save what you can!
I've also been trying to do my part for the environment (there's just so much you have to look out for these days! jeesh), so when I came across this website I was convinced I had found the complete package. Make your house as eco friendly as you want while cutting your power bill down, down, down!

I don't want to do a whole great big speech about this, but all I can say is if you're wanting to save a bunch on your utility bills and want to do it the eco friendly way, then maybe you should check out this website. It only takes a few minutes, and I'm not going to lie, I'm really glad that I did.

Don't wait another minute, start saving on your power bills now!

    Default Expense of power

Another way to cut your power costs at least in your wallet is to get onto a Budget Plan with your power company.

I use NV Energy and they take your monthly usage over a period of time and figure out what your average balance is so you make the same payment over the year.

Here in Las Vegas where my bill is 60.00 in the winter, it can go up to 300.00+ in the Summer with the AC on all the time due to it being 120 out. Being on a budget plan means I only pay around 100 during those hot months.

Wish I could afford to plaster my roof with photovoltaics to offset the cost of electricity but at the moment it is out of my reach.

I agree. If people only knew how much coal is burned in generating electricity, they'd use it well and efficiently!

You don't have to sign up on any program to save. All you need is some simple ways to cut back on your energy costs! For one, you can turn off that air conditioning. You can save up to $665 per year if you use ceiling fans instead of airconditioners. You can also try washing your clothes in cold water and save at least $150 a year. You save about the same thing a year if you don't use your dryer and instead install a clothesline outside your house and then hanging your wet clothes on them.

Do you guys know that even when you can't see, smell or hear anything, that you are actually polluting the earth? It doesn't happen in your home but at the power plant that produces the electricity you use!
I've heard that James Hansen said that the real way to preventing climate change is to reduce energy use at home. If you guys would remember, Hansen is one of the first scientists who warned the world about global warming in the 80s

This is where alternative energy comes in handy. If we can find ways like solar energy or water energy to replace power plants that burn coal, we can do a lot for the environment.

Great tips. I have been doing all of that. I'd like to add though that having your clothes dry out in the sun has an added benefit: your clothes are bacteria free and they smell real good!

Another thing I do to save is that I don't use light bulbs, instead I use compact flourescent lights, and I've read that it saves me around $100 a year.
