That's a great idea, because it would be effective in all seasons, and even protect against tornados and earthquakes (but not volcanos).

I'm not into games, but you did pose an interesting idea.
In the "Wizard of Oz" Dorothy's Aunt, Uncle and helpers all went down into the storm cellar to escape the tornado. Yet today very few home builders, home buyers or home renters on the plains of the USA even think about a storm cellar, and every tornado season some of them get blown away. Why is that?

Both your answers are emphasizing the obvious. What is not so obvious is the absence of any federal, state or local programs to help the people protect themselves by digging storm cellars as close as possible to their front or back doors, or in their basement, if they have one, so they can go there at a minute's notice. As it is they hide in their bathrooms where, as often as not, they are found dead.

What I don't understand is why some ambitious entrepreneur hasn't already launched a sales campaign to dig a small storm cellar for anyone for as little as $20 a month for 28 months, or some such credit arrangement. It should be popular, considering the danger everyone faces who lives anywhere around a tornado prone area. Somebody has the investment capital, so what's stopping them?
