I work for Ranpak Corp., an environmentally friendly packaging company, which uses 100% recyclable, renewable and reusable paper to protect products during shipment. Many other packing material options like petroleum-based expanded polystyrene foam peanuts or air-filled plastic cushioning are recyclable, but usually require special recycling methods and are not nearly as easily recyclable as paper.
If you would like to help reduce packaging waste, then please visit our web site at Package Registration and register any packages that you receive which do not contain environmentally friendly packaging materials. We will then contact the company and relay to them their consumerís interest in receiving more environmentally friendly packaging and inform them about the benefits of paper packaging for the environment.
