Start living sustainably today!
Obviously, British Columbia's population and its economy is growing and that is the mistake people make everywhere around the World. The Premier says the next hydro-electric dam will be the last, but as the population keeps growing they will need ever more electricity and so the development will continue until almost nothing is left of their once famous boreal forests, replaced by relentless urban and suburban sprawl and polluted beyond endurance -- all because they could not bring themselves to control the number of people living there, as it is with human beings everywhere on this endangered planet, driven by their instinct to grow for more and more wealth and power, seemingly forever. But planet Earth is cooling and shrinking with each volcano and earthquake and by the huge amounts of oil and minerals extracted from the ground every year. British Columbia needs to say: "Our environment can support this many people and no more!" Actually, that should be a continental estimate. The North American continent is endangered by overpopulation and massive pollution, so it's time for peaceful and voluntary family planning programs in every village, town and city.
