Default The Gulf Will Be Beautiful Again

Not a lot of people talk about "beauty" and "the Gulf" in the same breath these days.

Five years ago, New Orleans was under 15 feet of water, debris, toxic waste and dead bodies. The disaster killed 1,800 people and caused $75 billion in damage.

Van Jones: The Gulf Will Be Beautiful Again

If the human population continues to grow, it will devour and pollute the living Earth and, after self-extinction, leave a dead planet. But so immersed in their delusions of grandeur, they refuse to think about changing their desires for more of everything forever. Instead, 99% agree they must "grow the economy". Thus, the human race is suicidally insane, and not only will the Gulf of Mexico NOT be beautiful again, it will become a sea of oil rigs as the demand for more electricity continues to grow and grow and grow until the biosphere collapses, which has already begun with the increasing wildfires, droughts and floods. But the ad-driven, game-addicted consumers will not read and think, but go right on with their gainful agendas while dreaming of a glorious future of high tech prosperity, which is nothing more or less than an irresistable instinct in which they are helplessly imprisoned as wage and debt slaves to a predatory social system ruled by corporate robber barons and organised crime.
