AP - Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger said Tuesday he doesn't just want to defeat the November ballot measure that would suspend the state's greenhouse gas emissions law — he wants voters to trounce it to prompt Washington to create a new national energy policy.

Arnold has failed as Governor and he's desperately grasping for something to leave as his "legacy," no matter how flimsy it is. The truth is that AB 32 will kill more than 1.5 million jobs over the next few years and will dramatically drive up energy costs for individuals and businesses. CA already has the worst business climate in the states and is driving companies out to states like AZ and TX. CA cannot afford the job losses that AB 32 will drive.

Don't let the propaganda ads with scary images of smokestacks and talk of "greedy oil companies" fool you. AB 32 will have a catastrophic effect on CA's economy and will do nothing to alleviate global warming. If you have any doubt, here are some articles that may inform you. Please vote YES on prop 23.

The reason there is so much unemployment in California and throughout the USA and the other more industrialized nations is the relentless growth of the human population and its illegal immigration into these more industrialized areas, like the USA and the European Union, and the outsourcing of jobs to the low-wage labor in those more overpopulated nations. Thus, California investors want to grow the economy to absorb and profit from that invasion of illegals, regardless of the environmental damage from the massive increase in pollution from the exploding population. But the Governor dares not say the illegals are the basic problem because he would instantly be branded a racist, as have many others who see the reality of the situation, even though overpopulation is a human problem afflicting all races.

So, confusion reigns in California and around the World as capital investors promote a forever-growing human population and a forever-growing big business economy, regardless of environmental consequences, and they oppose any legislation that interferes with that growth, and deny global warming, even as wilfires and drought, torrential rainstorms and floods spread around the World.

Thus, brave Governor Schwartzenegger supports a law that legally obliges those corporations to participate in reducing the carbon emmisssions, and of course they hate him for it, because like taxes, it eats into their short-term profits, which is really all they care about.
