Tougher rules rile ‘green’ power producers - The Boston Globe
It is situations like this that convince me the human race is truly insane, because if the population in Western Massachussetts were not growing and needing ever more energy, there would be no problem as a smaller population could harvest a set number of trees per year and replant, but no one is willing to talk about it. So, as the population grows, the forests retreat, and the people argue and debate and wrangle over details, while their local way of life is overwhelmed - and this is happening everywhere. It's madness.
