LOS ANGELES — This auto-obsessed city — a place where people love their cars almost as much as they hate the traffic — has embarked on the biggest expansion of its mass transit system in decades, an effort to change the way people navigate its sprawling and clogged streets and freeways.

As Los Angeles and its population keeps on growing and needing services, more subway and elevated lines, trolly and bus lines and bike paths, etc are only stopgap measures of limited effect. But I have the solution --> TELEPORTATION ! Then, no vehicles of any kind will be needed as people DE-materialize and RE-materialize from home to office and back! So, get busy all you scientific geniuses, there's billions in profits waiting for those who are first with a workable design(!)
