China and the USA are two corporate monsters competing for domination of World markets. Chinese capitalism is governed by a dictatorship of the Chinese Communist bureacracy, while the USA is governed as a democratic republic dominated by big business corporations. They may couch their arguments in terms of the environment, but that only masks their real agenda: World domination. That word, domination, represents the underlying fact of human existence, that men are in charge and their instinct to dominate everyone drives them to compete with other men in other nations and empires. This has been the history of the World from tribal times to the present day, and unless we change it, the inevitable result will be ongoing conflict among growing populations, war, ecocide and the extinction of life on Earth. It is certainly good that more women are becoming leaders, but if they merely ape the policies of their male teachers, nothing will change. To survive we need to live in peace and balance and that requires a global partnership between men and women everywhere.
