According to the article, there are already 36 wells operating in that area, so how much more dangerous would a few more be? To stop further drilling for oil reduce the demand by peacefully reducing the human population and recycling 100% of all waste and garbage. Otherwise, watch economic growth kill the biosphere and kiss life on Earth goodbye.
