It is only common sense that folks living in rural areas have less exposure to tainted air flowing from massive factories and exhaust from thousands of vehicles maneuvering around a metropolitan area every day. The American Lung Association compiles a list of geographic areas with the worst air pollution every year. Not surprisingly the nation's largest cities continue to make the list of towns with dangerous levels of particle and ozone pollution.
