Yeah I read something about Venice sinking slowly each year. Plus you got increasing water level, most probably caused by global warming & with the polar ice caps melting faster each year, which adds to the problem some more. Their government is doing something about it.
By the way, what happens if the population of Venice goes way below the threshold? Does it get downgraded to a town or something else? It's a silly question, an icebreaker from this sad news.![]()
