Bio-diversity is threatened and species are going extinct because corporate agendas prefer only a few very profitable species to fish-farm in billions, driving all others to the edges of the global ocean. Meanwhile, "landfill in the sea" is a favorite solution to the waste disposal problem; and as the human population and its economy continue to grow and pollute, one can imagine the bacteria inheriting everything.
