The conservationists are willing to report destruction of wilderness habitat and extinction of species and the industrial expansion that causes it, but they say nothing about what causes that industrial expansion -- overpopulation. So, if no one is willing to talk about it, the population keeps on growing to expand its industries and the Amazon and Andes wilderness areas are destroyed to make a few people rich and everyone else poor, while the same sort of destruction is happening everywhere else around the World, and eventually, no amount of money will save anyone from the global pollution they have dumped here, there and everywhere. So, how many rich people are happy with the idea that they might be the last human beings to survive on planet Earth?
