Even i read the news. The largest ice sheet of the world has started melting along its coastline to the great surprise of the scientists who had predicted this ice sheet to be relatively stable. Reports also say that the polar ice melting is contributing more to the rise of sea level than Greenland which melts 250 billion tonnes a year.
Rising seas are bad enough, but as growing tons of garbage and sludge are dumped in the ocean and growing thousands of sealife creatures are poisoned, the entire global ecosystem is in danger of collapse, and if that happens, every living thing on Earth will die. Read "A Letter To Everyone" at ---
A very good observation nrdthxpr. It seems that it is not only the global warming process which makes the life of the earth shorter but human beings are playing their part in different ways to contribute to the process.
