The problem is that if more than a small percentage of what is left is burned, the scientific consensus is that it will trigger unstoppable warming through methane releases. Dumb, ill informed and money influenced politicians and voters must be educated on what has to happen to save our biosphere and grandchildren. The strong link to overpopulation and growth only economy has to be made with AGW and its consequences. Maybe Romney has a slight understanding, but if he doesn't tie it to overpopulation of the USA, and the planet, it is all for nothing.
How much of this does President Obama understand? Certainly more than almost any Republican except maybe Kasich. I've emailed him but an auto-reply said due to enormous traffic my message could not be read, let alone answered, so I stopped trying to contact him. But he is an extraordinarily intelligent man, so I'm hoping he grasps the global dilemma we are all immersed in and fully supports the Green Movement.
Here are the words of Obama's chief economic adviser, Larry Summers: "There are no...limits to the carrying capacity of the Earth that are likely to bind any time in the foreseeable future. There isn't a risk of apocalypse due to global warming or anything else. The idea that we should put limits on growth because of some natural limit is a profound error."
Obama, with his supposed 130 IQ, but no people who said what he studied in college or even witnessed him there when he was supposed to be there. Does he have a clue as to exponential math or ecology?? Does he really understand Martin Luther King's speech on overpopulation? It surely seems not. His illegal administrative amnesty of illegals is proof.
The only reason to give amnesty to illegal aliens is to hire them at below minimum wage and get their illegally registered votes. But the recent economic recession has driven many of them back across the border, ironically still leaving millions of legal citizens out of work. I'm going to research Larry Summers. President Obama has often said we must grow the economy, so perhaps he's getting bad advice.
I just accessed the White House website and Larry Summers is doing what he was assigned to do -- find ways to put several million UNemployed Americans back to work, and the quickest way to do that is grow the economy. They can't be concerned about the damage that growing economy is doing to the biophere. To get re-elected, the President must create jobs by any legal means necessary. If he failed to do so, and a Republican gained the White House, we would see worse damage to the environment than ever before in history, and it would probably be fatal to planet Earth and all of us. So, yet again, we are faced with a "lesser of two evils" choice. But Obama has enough other fine qualities that i will have no qualms about voting for him. But life on Earth may soon be dangling by a thread.
My boyhood mentor told me I'm a "terrific writer", but the World is locked up inside its elite literary establishment, so hardly anyone knows i exist, let alone anyhting I have to say about anything. So, they don't realize their elitism is a fatal disease, a suicidal syndrome.
