I am thankful our planet is still able to launch self-cleansing hurricanes and tornados. But if our human pollution keeps on spreading there could come a day when the biosphere is so weak its weather systems can no longer function. Then our industrial toxins would more rapidly accumulate and extinguish all life on Earth, except maybe some germs and bacteria.
