The entire human race and its addiction to growing wealth and power are responsible for Kiribati's dire predicament, because the Earth is NOT growing but slowly shrinking with each volcano and earthquake. But if everyone around the World helps to safely recycle 100% of all garbage, sewage and junk, and peacefully reduces their human population with family planning education, and plants several million trees, the biosphere will return to its normal weather cycles and the seas will stop rising; although that may take a long time because the human race has been destructively exploiting the biosphere since the "Industrial Revolution" when machines began to replace humans to produce huge amounts of money for a small number of people.
