Power outages are usually caused by massive overuse by the growing population who also build mountains of "landfill", dump more tons in the ocean and pollution into the air. But the corporations are happy with overpopulation because when millions are unemployed and competing with each other for jobs that drives down wages, any corporation's biggest expense. Tragically, planet Earth is not growing to accomodate that relentless growth, but slowly shrinking with each volcano and earthquake, which means the human race is committing suicide. We have the rechnical ability to recycle 100% of all our garbage, sewage and junk, but that would cost more money than corporations are willing to spend.
