The only effective way to clean up the beaches around the Great Lakes is to stop the dumping of garbage, sludge and junk, which is where all that beach litter comes from. All the cities in the USA should be legally required to safely recycle 100% of all the garbage they produce. Instead, most of it goes into landfills, lakes, rivers and the ocean, which together with car and jet exhaust, industrial smoke and fumes, are a major cause of the weather crisis around the World because planet Earth is a living biosphere you cannot dump on without consequences.
