If the human population were not growing by the millions every month there would be plenty of wilderness areas for all the wild creatures to live in their natural way. But the Earth is not growing to accomodate us, instead slowly shrinking with each volcano and earthquake, so unless we peacefully reduce our human numbers and safely recycle our pollution, the biosphere will no longer be able to process it and we ourselves will join all the others in ecocide and extinction.
