    Default Mother Earth's The S#*T!!!

    I would like to introduce all of you to rockthetoilet.org. It's my new webcomic following the lives of Chip and Alison as they try to "green" their lives while maintaining the quality of life that they've come to expect from modern conveniences. The strips generally illustrate Chip and Alison's day to day struggles to be more green, but sometimes branch into instructional strips with simple how-to strips with ideas about quick and easy ways to green your own life.

    Hi Pyar,

    First off, congratulations on your upcoming graduation... I envy you. Am still in my first year of graduate school!

    I really like the simple cartoon on the front page, the one which had the switch and two simple words: turn off. Looks like you could translate it to a shirt design

    Second, thanks for the tips. It's refreshing to see it done in a strip form rather than an article.

    I do have one comment though. I don't know about others here, but humor works for me. If you could come up with zany ideas to exaggerate the situations your characters find themselves in, that'd be great. This will also provide you with some sort of opportunity to introduce some personality into your characters and that would help them more memorable.

    Hey ya'll!

    It's been a while since I've been back on the forum, but I wanted to post a quick response. To Cass: No, my grade isn't dictated by web traffic, but I realize now that the way I posted is seen as inappropriate for forum settings. I apologize for that. There was truly no malicious intent on my part.

    I wanted to thank you for the feedback, too, Lozenges. I know that humor is a really important way to bring these messages home in a way that people respond to. Any direct feedback would be much appreciated. In the meantime, I'm just going to have to work on getting funnier on my own.
