Given all these financial problems with Greece and the relatively overvalued Euro the EU has a lot of problems. Good that they extended the union towards the Eastern countries. Countries like Poland, etc seem to show decent growth. Around 60% of the EU countries' external trade is withing the Euro-zone, so not affected by exchange rate movements. So there is hope for the EU to drive up growth all by staying environmentally friendly. There is a lot of good green technology around in Germany and Scandinavia. I also like the fact that the new EU president appears more results then ego-driven.
I am planning to follow events from a technology and sustainability point of view on Andrea Hemsted (tecshift) on Twitter. I'd love a few more followers who area also interested in the subject.![]()
