Goin Green - Advice Needed

Hello,

I have a mobile DJ business, and would love ideas on how to "green" my business.

I work at various venues throughout my region and need electricity to run my system, speakers, & lights. Appearance is very important; weddings are my main events.

I have thought of using solar panels to power my system, however 95% of my weddings are all indoors, and almost all are at night.

Any other ideas? Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

Power/Energy-saving lights? If you have custom-made speaker/boom boxes you can use materials that are recycled.

It would be very inconvenient, I think, if you are running around with all those solar panels since you are mobile. But if some of your equipment can run on industrial grade rechargeable batteries, perhaps that's where the solar panels come in. You recharge them batteries at home/office during the day. Maybe you can save energy this way. Well this is just an idea. Just my 2 cents... hehe

Thanks for your input! I thought about the rechargeable batteries, i just don't know if they'd supply enough power to run my rig.
