Good news for all going green
For all those who likes green living, here is a good news. A new site is launched, The reGives Network - The Groovy Way To Change The World, which allows used stuff to be given to people who want them. This is good for our green planet as this will reduce the amount of stuff that ends up in garbage and it will also save the energy that is needed to manufacture that item, reducing carbon emission that causes global warming.
The site requires signing up with email, etc. An opening for spam. Things are exchanged which helps keep them out of landfills and replacements manufactured. However, there is the transportation CO2 and costs.
The really ridiculous thing is the population counter showing 6.98 billion when it is 7.03 now.
The really groovy way to change the world would be to give free birth control and sterilizations along with equal women's rights worldwide, and education to lower population and consumption along with fossil fuel use ASAP and as much as needed to stop the methane self-release reaction, and to stop the horrors of the population crash.
