    Cool Green Videos

    I remember when the only green videos were by Jaques Cousteau. The 1990s had some great ones; "Dennis Weaver's Earthship", "WWIII: Overpopulation and the Biosphere" by Michael Tobias and Oregon Public Television, and "Cadillac Dessert".
    2006, the great "An Inconvenient Truth", so hated by the anti-environmentalists.
    Then 2008-9 had some including "Blind Spot"., "Collapse" and "The Eleventh Hour".
    More, but with>>> little real effect on population and pollution growth.<<<
    Apparently, people just watch garbage like "Dancing With the Stars", "Survivor" or "American Idol". Along with various inane series.
    The population is still documented as dumbing down......

    Any other green videos for people?

    Here is one debunking the latest BS that AGW has stopped since 1997 when all ten of the ten hottest years have been since then!

    These are all big, broad ranging green videos, not little trinkets. The world's biggest problems stem from overpopulation and the most dangerous is AGW.

    That's a great website Val, but most people are so addicted to the money system, only a disaster like superstorm Sandy shakes them awake, but then they only want to get back to business as usual and get angry if the government doesn't help them to do so. It never occurs to them that it is "business as usual" that causes environmental disasters in the first place.

    We are trying to get ourselves "greener" with a long term goal to retire off the grid in a passive solar home of some sort. Our "top ten ways we save energy at home" video follows. Please comment here and on YouTube, I'd really like to increase the YouTube ranking of this video so it gets more exposure. Thanks! Oh this is my very first post, I'm pretty happy I found the "Green Forum"

    Okay, I can't link to my video because this is my first post. I need to make nine more. My bad. Just look up the video in YouTube search, it will show up there. Thanks again!

    I suppose my family could have made a video of building a solar home and living with an eco-footprint 1/20th of the average American.
    When you live in a totally off grid solar powered eco house, with greenhouse and gardens, have only one child(or none), compost and live the three Rs, and drive a hybrid, or electric, you are doing everything possible to lower your emissions and help the biosphere. The goal is to reduce emissions 90% within 3 to 11 years, the sooner the better.
    If your educational video does that, then it is worthwhile. A 20% reduction isn't enough and neither is an 80% reduction. Read about the footprint multiplier of children in the overpopulation thread.
    An eco house is many things and we have a thread on that, too.
    Here is your video;

    Oh, by the way David, it is a good idea to put in a profile/biography to be a real member and not be seen as a spammer.
