Then I found a chart that listed this:
Lumens-----LED-----ILB-----CFL
450----------5------40-------9
800----------8------60------13
1,100-------13------75------18
1,600-------20------100-----23
Then I found a site selling these; Earth LED ZetaLux 7 watts 538 lumens--$55 and
EvoLux 13 watts 1000 lumens---$72
They are cooler, harder to break, use a little less power per lumens, and last 5 times longer than CFLs.(50K hrs.)
However, the 40, 60, and 75 watt incandescent equivalent lumens CFLs cost only $12 for a 4 pack!!!($15 for 50K hrs.)
The CFLs use roughly 1/5th the power of incandescents, and the LEDs use roughly 1/7th the power of ILBs.(~$50 for 50K hrs.
for incandescents).
Electric use for 50K hrs @ .20 USD per KWH;
LED $80 + $55 cost=$135; CFL $130 + $15 cost=$145; and ILB $600 + $50=$650 for the 60 watt bulbs
LED $50 + $48 cost=$98; CFL $90 + $15 cost= $105; and ILB $400 + $50=$450 for the 40 watters and
LED $130 + $72 cost = $202; CFL $180 + $15 = $195; and ILB $750 + $50 = $800 for the 75 watt bulbs.

I've also been using LEDs, and do online shopping for them to find great deals/good discounts.
